A space to come
when the mind feels chaotic
“When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come close to the conclusion that the gift of imagination has meant more to me than any talent for absorbing absolute knowledge.
ALBERT EINSTEIN
The Body, Mind, Soul and emotions are more than just connected. They are one. To nurture the body is to nurture the mind, spirit and emotions. To nurture the spirit is to nurture the body, mind and emotions. And so it goes, a continuous connection. A continuing whole. Do you feel fragmented? Have you disowned a part of yourself? Invite it back. Maybe you’ve focused too heavily on one part and neglected the others… Tend to each aspect of the whole. Do things that nurture your spirit, perhaps spend time in prayer or meditation or time with nature. Work on what you believe; clarify the thoughts that run through your head. Nurture yourself emotionally. Let yourself heal from the feelings of the past, and do what you need to stay current and clear. Listen to your body and give it what it needs- its not separate and apart, its not a nuisance. Its the form your spirit as created to experience the gift of life…the longer you travel the journey to the heart, the more you’ll discover and trust your soul. Start by becoming connected. If you love yourself and keep walking your path, soon you’ll se how connected you are.”
Melody BEatte
“The last of the human freedoms: to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way. And there were always choices to make. Every day, every hour, offered the opportunity to make a decision, a decision which determined whether you would or would not submit to those powers which threatened to rob you of your very self, your inner freedom.”
VIKTOR E FRANKL
“The real act of discovery consists, not in finding new lands, but in seeing with new eyes.”
Marcel Proust
“The secret to success is constancy to purpose.”
Benjamin Disraeli

Come back to center, that place In you that is still calm quiet and connected. Your center is a place you can trust. It connects the body, mind, heart and soul. It connects truth, your inner voice, and the divine. Your best work comes from there. Your insights, awareness and guidance come from bring there at that place.
Your center is place that is quietly confident, unassuming spontaneous and free. It is gentle and kind, but it has the power to defend instinctively against attack.
Your center is a place that is naturally joyful and at peace. It is accepting, nonjudgmental, and it channels the voice of your heart. It knows perfect timing. It knows the rhythm of the universe, the rhythm of all creation and it delights in its connection to that rhythm.
If you must leave your center to learn a lesson, feel a feeling, or experience something new, do that. Take all the side trips you are called to. But come back to your center when done.
And go to your center first, before you go anywhere else.
Melody Beattie

Find places of healing. Discover people places, things and places that nourish your soul, bring you back to your center, help you heal.
Life is not an endurance contest, not anymore, we are not in a race to see how long we can go without, how much we can go without, how much pain we can stay in. although sometimes we go through dry spells and droughts, we are not cactuses.
There is a place in each of us that wants to heal, that we can heal, that will heal. It’s a peaceful place, one of nourishment, replenishment, peace, safety, comfort, and joy. It a place of love and acceptance. Its a place of forgiveness, honesty, openness, nurturing, and kindness. You can find it quickly if that’s what you’re your seeking. You will recognize it instantly because of how it feels. It will bring you back to center. It will bring you back to calm. It will bring you back to joy.
Melody Beattie

“If you are depressed you are living in the past.
If you are anxious you are living in the future.
If you are at peace, you are living in the present.”“Water is fluid, soft and yielding. But water will wear away rock, which is rigid and cannot yield. As a rule, whatever is fluid, soft and yielding will overcome whatever is rigid and hard. This is another paradox: what is soft is strong”

Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.
How do you know this is the experience you need? because it is the experience you are having at the moment.

Love yourself enough to stop worrying.
Love yourself enough to give yourself the gift of peace
